DESCRIPTION

D-5082 NS is a corrosion preventative for aircraft cables and out-of-service aircraft such as HMCs. It is self-healing, features a flexible petroleum base and is easily removed with common solvents. Parts coated with D-5082 NS will stand up to outdoor exposure for two years.

APPLICATION

Recommended for aircraft as it is an extremely effective corrosion preventive for lubrication and protection of aircraft cables. When preparing aircraft for storage or HMV (Heavy Maintenance Visits), can be applied in fuselages and wing sections. Excellent for shipment as a preservative for automobiles, farm equipment, machinery, pipes and construction equipment. Parts coated with D-5082 can be stored outside and will prevent corrosion up to 2 years. One aerosol can will cover approximately 50 square feet of area.

FEATURES

Adheres firmly to metal surfaces, is dry to the touch within two hours and does not flake. Meets and surpasses the severe salt spray chamber test. The self-healing protective film utilizes a flexible petroleum based formulation. Removal of the protective film can be accomplished with either petroleum or chlorinated solvents.

DESCRIPTION

D-5026 NS is a concentrated version of D-5015 NS designed for medium duty use on critical metal surfaces in electronic assemblies and on electrical and mechanical cables. It is an effective corrosion inhibitor and water dispersant for larger surfaces and retains the lubricating characteristics of D-5015 NS.

APPLICATION

D-5026NS protects cables and surfaces along with interior and exterior aircraft surfaces. Can be used for initial protection during shipment and storage and for in-service treatment of critical areas. One aerosol covers approximately 140 square feet.

FEATURES

Will not harm most paints, plastics or insulation and provide light lubrication. The ability of D-5026NS to prevent corrosion and to displace water along with its complete miscibility with lubricating oil and use of application makes it particularly suited for service use.

DESCRIPTION

D-5010 NS is a powerful penetrating oil and corrosion inhibitor formulated for aircraft use. D-5010 NS dissolves rust, disperses water and leaves a thin protective film that resists corrosion, light acids and alkali solutions. D-5010 NS is widely used on small parts, in engine repair and to protect tools and equipment. It will not harm paints, plastics, rubber or plated surfaces.

APPLICATION

D-5010NS is general purpose material widely used on aircraft and engine parts during component overhaul at both maintenance check and H.M.V. frequencies prior to installation on an aircraft engine. Protect and lubricates delicate shop tools, gauges and instruments.

DESCRIPTION

Cor-Ban 35 is a long lasting, high solids and low VOC CIC with high penetration capability and water displacing properties. Applied in a 1.5 to 2 mil wet film thickness it dries in less than one hour to a non-tacky, salmon pink color. Cor-Ban 35 incorporates the best features of BMS 3-23 and BMS 3-29 approved products.

APPLICATION

The product can be applied by conventional airless or air-operated spray equipment. The coating should be applied at 1 - 1½ mils wet thickness. Aerosol application is available. All properties represented were achieved with a dry film thickness of 0.75 mils.
