DESCRIPTION
Calla 301-A Lemon is a uniquely formulated all purpose, heavy duty cleaner and degreasing compound that efficiently removes grease, oils, carbon, hydraulic fluid and dirt, as well as many soils which resist other cleaner. It is nonflammable, biodegradable, has no irritating vapors and contains no harmful concentrations of phenols, chromates or chlorinated solvents. Calla 301-A Lemon is noncorrosive and will not pit, stain or attack aluminum alloys, magnesium, copper, steel or other metals. It will not injure acrylic paint or other paints used on equipment, machines or autos when used as directed. It will not damage wiring on motors or acrylic base plastics. Calla 301-A Lemon rinses easily and leaves no residue or stain, even if allowed to completely dry on the surface.
APPLICATION
The following recommendations for the cleaning of aircraft, aircraft components and facilities have been compiled through many years of cleaning many types of aircraft under widely varied conditions.
FUSELAGE TAIL SECTIONS, WING TIPS, ETC. Mix 1 part Calla 301-A Lemon with 3 to 20 parts water, depending on the amount of soil; apply by spray or mop; allow a few minutes for penetration before mopping or brushing and rinsing thoroughly. For recovery of badly oxidized surfaces, the 1 to 3 mixture will give excellent results under most conditions. Future washings with more dilute mixtures will maintain oxide free, shiny surfaces.
BLAST AREAS, LANDING GEAR
Mix 1 part Calla 301-A Lemon with parts water; apply by spray or mop; allow a few minutes for penetration before scrubbing heavy deposits; flood rinse with water. If solvent can be used, mix 1 part Calla 301-A Lemon with 5 parts solvent. Agitate mixture briefly with air to form emulsion. Spray or mop mixture over entire area; allow a few minutes for penetration; scrub surfaces well; rinse with water
VINYL PLASTICS OR FABRICS, RUGS, TOILETS
Mix 1 part Calla 301-A Lemon with 4 to 8 parts water for general use: allow time to use full strength. Apply with spray, brush or cloth; allow time to penetrate; agitate with rush or cloth; wipe off with clean damp cloth. On rugs or carpeting, remove residue with vacuum unit.
WATERLESS CLEANING
Dilute Calla 301-A Lemon, as amount of soil requires, in open bucket or barrel. Saturate mop in solution and wring out excess. Mop the surface thoroughly covering a small area at a time. Rinse with a clean damp mop.
FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT, GALLEY AREA
On ovens, apply Calla 301-A Lemon full strength, or diluted 1 to 1 with water; spray or sponge area to be cleaned; allow 10 minutes for penetration. Remove baked on grease with scouring pad; rinse with warm water. Wipe thoroughly. Dilute to suit on other equipment and galley surfaces.
RAMPS, HANGAR HOUSEKEEPING
Use Calla 301-A Lemon 1 part to 5 parts water in scrubbers.
GROUND POWER EQUIPMENT
Mix 1 part Calla 301-A Lemon with 3 to 5 parts water; spray or brush on; allow 3 to 5 minutes for penetration; agitate if necessary; rinse off with water.
AIRCRAFT WHEELS, BRAKES AND COMPONENTS
Heated Dip Tank: dilute the Calla 301-A Lemon with 1 to 4 parts water, depending on the operating temperature of the tank. At 120 degrees Fahrenheit (50 degrees Celsius) 1 Calla 301-A Lemon to 4 water; at 100 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius) 1 to 1. For wheels, soak for 30 minutes or more; scrub heavy deposits with wheel brush; rinse with warm to hot water.
COLD DIP TANK
Dilute Calla 301-A Lemon 1 to 1 with water of 1 to 4 with solvent; agitate solution; proceed as in heated dip tank.
SPRAY ON METHOD
Use Calla 301-A Lemon straight or mix with 3 parts solvent; agitate; apply; allow 10 to 15 minutes for penetration; scrub; and rinse with pressure water. Repeat immediately, if necessary.
OIL OR HYDRAULIC FILTER SCREENS
Use full strength. Allow 30 minutes of penetration; agitate with air if possible and rinse with water. In Ultrasonic Tank: Use diluted 1 part to 3 parts water for best results.
STEAM CLEANING
Dilute 1 part Calla 301-A Lemon with 20 parts ware in solution tank. Increase concentration if required by extreme soil condition. Reduces scaling in machine coils. Provide spray wetting and penetrating action. Rinses freely.

Calla 602LF is a concentrated cleaner for use in aqueous parts washing cabinets. It is low foaming at temperatures as low as 140°F and can remove dirt and grease from parts with cycle times as low as 3 minutes. Also, it is a short term emulsifier allowing for easier seperation of the greases and oils from the waste stream. It's low VOC formulation allows it to be used in the strictest air quality control regulations.
